COVID-19 is at the top of the headlines and the minds of everyone across the globe. In this time of uncertainty and disruption, we want to give you a ray of light for you and your employees.
Our goal is to inspire people to create a better workplace for everyone and we want you to feel encouraged to keep your employees safe (physically and psychologically), healthy, and engaged.
To start here are some tips we want to share:
Help employees feel safe by continuously communicating as updates come in
Create Trust- If you have staff that can work remotely; let them.
Make sure employees have access to resources to help them cope with anxiety
Be committed to your employees and their safety and wellbeing.
Be proactive. Anticipate needs and questions that might come up and make a plan. Communicate that plan clearly and consistently.
Equip your team leaders with information, make sure they communicate and respond to questions and concerns. Support them in this; don’t just expect them to do this.
Be Flexible and Supportive

If remote work isn’t realistic…
For workers that cannot work remotely, but need to be home with children, elderly family members or are susceptible to the virus; be flexible with them it will benefit you in the long term

Working from home can be a challenge if you have never done it so maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Take this as an opportunity to show your employer, you can work remotely and get things done.
Clean your space. Make sure your surfaces are clean and you plenty of cleaning materials.
Wash your hands with soap
Don’t touch your face
Avoid shaking hands
